We bought about 85 bamboo plants from Bamboo Plus around 4 months ago. A permaculture consultant recommended bamboo as a natural way to create a screen in our garden to filter out road noise. I did a lot of research and investigation and luckily found Mike at Bamboo Plus. For a start their prices are lower than anywhere else, and they are in Melbourne, so their plants were appropriate for our area. Mike took so much time advising me on species to choose, and took me through his nursery on Facetime as I couldn’t get to see the nursery in person. Mike was never pushy, and came up with great solutions. He arranged a very easy, reasonable price for the delivery, and great instructions on the planting. The plants are thriving now, and we look forward to years of beauty and practical resources from them, and reduced street noise. I would highly recommend Bamboo Plus!
Came to see Bamboo Plus feeling apprehensive about bamboo, thinking they were spreading bamboo. Mike explained about the non invasive varieties, and how maintenance free bamboo is.
